Lessons

 We want each student to have a feeling of accomplishment and excitement while learning new skills and reaching a set of goals with their horse or pony. While safety is our primary concern, fun runs a close second.  Our head trainer Laura Sartwelle has an extensive background competing in Hunter/Jumper shows, Eventing and dressage. She is a very enthusiastic teacher who can help you aspire to reach any goal whether it is in the show ring or personal goals. Private and semi-private lessons are available from beginner to advanced on your horse or ours. Our lead trainer offers a fun, friendly, inviting environment that is sure to please. Students leave each lesson with a sense of confidence and pride. 

 Our staff has raised countless foals and started dozens of young horses under saddle. Whether you want your horse to learn the basics, or to become a show horse, we take a patient methodical approach designed to increase your horse's strength and suppleness. While building trust, confidence, and skill. 

Our Horsemanship class is perfect for kids or adults new to horses. The focus is to provide a brief introduction into basic horsemanship and beginner riding skills. Contact NHS to book your one month package.
